How do I access my Enlisted Records Brief (ERB) or Officer Record Brief (ORB)?

To retrieve your records, go to the iPERMS website.

1. Log in using either the EAMS-A login option, or the DS Logon option.
2. On top menu below the iPERMS logo, Select the Documents tab and a list of available documents will be displayed.
3. Find the most recent ERB or ORB on the list of available documents, or select the version you would like to download for MilGears.
4. Click on the link (blue link in the "Name" column to open the document.
5. In the document view, export the document as a PDF file by clicking the download icon and saving as a pdf.
6. Save the file to a location that is easily accessible to you.

Note: Only original .pdf documents can be uploaded to MilGears. If you have scanned a copy of your document, they may not work with the record upload in MilGears.
